So, I did have time to find some of the pictures of quilts that went out lately.
Sorry I didn't have them all; but you can see we have been busy!  Thanks for
spending time with us............and sorry for the large picture, I don't know how
to fix it.
Hope you had a great Christmas Season and spent time giving; and Happy
New Year!

Qctober to December Quilts that went out to folks

I don't have any pictures this month because of all the many decorating jobs I had this month and last.  We did give out several quilts and are praying for healing and God's will in the lives of those folks.  Two are very young children and special love is being sent down
from above to them.
I do want to say that this ministry was started because God said so.  I went thru breast cancer in 2003 & 2004 and those of you who have been there know what I mean when I
say it's a over-whelming time.  After that time, I started a little quilting and after the first quilt, I knew that thru a cancer camp here in Jackson County, I needed to make quilts for other people going thru cancer.  The first year after we got quite a few quilts finished,  we gave over 100 quilts to cancer patients and St. Judes; that was 2011.  This year, we gave over 50; all to local folks.
Cancer doesn't leave any of us untouched; so if you live in Jackson County, MS.  Please contact me so I can get a quilt to whomever is facing this terrible dease.  I pray each quilt will bless those who receive them.

There have been so many new cancer patient requests for quilts that I haven't had time to post.  In fact, I have 3 in the works this week I am trying to get out as soon as possible.  One man is very serious and I don't want to be late.  This terrible thing called cancer doesn't leave any of us untouched and I pray you reading this can also share in the lives of these special people.  They are a blessing to me in this ministry.
A lady called me the other day to say she is trying to start a new Camp Bluebird to minister to cancer patients and I wish her luck.  In fact, if you live in Jackson County, Mississippi; and you want to help, feel free to contact me and I will give you her name.  She needs lots of workers.
On top of making quilts, I also decorate houses and businesses for the fall and Christmas season.  With thanksgiving next week, I do have fall done; but it also means a couple weeks of decorating for Christmas.....Oh what fun!  Have a blessed season and visit when you can.
